Carrying an pellet gun through British Airways?
Paintball Equipment
Transporting Paintball Equipment
You cannot bring markers (aka Paintball Guns) in your carry-on luggage. Pack them in your checked baggage. We do not consider paintball guns to be firearms and you can pack them in unlocked, soft or hard sided luggage.
Please also read our section on compressed gas cylinders for more information. Traveling with compressed gas cylinders.
Please note: Many of the seals/regulators used in paintball are not designed for the end user to remove from their cylinders. Only a factory trained technician should remove or reinstall the seal/regulator.
You cannot bring paintball guns in your carry-on luggage. Pack them in your checked baggage.
If you are considering air travel with a compressed air or CO2 system, you should contact the manufacturer of the system for help finding a qualified technician. You should also consider having a parcel service ship the system to your destination.
Compressed Gas Cylinders
Travel Assistant
Compressed gas cylinders are allowed in checked baggage or as a carry-on ONLY if the regulator valve is completely disconnected from the cylinder and the cylinder is no longer sealed (i.e. the cylinder has an open end). The cylinder must have an opening to allow for a visual inspection inside.
Our Security Officers will NOT remove the seal or regulator valve from the cylinder at the checkpoint. If the cylinder is sealed (i.e. the regulator valve is still attached), the cylinder is prohibited and not permitted through the security checkpoint, regardless of the reading on the pressure gauge indicator. Our Security Officers must visibly ensure that the cylinder is completely empty and that there are no prohibited items inside.
Please note: Many of the seals/regulators used in paintball are not designed to be removed from their cylinder by the end user. The seal/regulator should only be removed and reinstalled by a factory trained technician.
Passengers considering air travel with a compressed air or CO2 system would be advised to contact its manufacturer for guidance in locating a qualified technician, or to consider shipping the system to their destination via a parcel service.
Help finding a good BB gun?
The only 'BB' guns I know of that get that velocity are dual ammunition guns (guns that can shoot BBs or pellets). These guns include the Crosman 2100/Remington Airmaster 77, Daisy 880, Crosman 664, and Crosman 760. Of those guns the Crosman 2100 is the most powerful at around 9 ft-lbs muzzle energy with pellets (8 grain pellets at around 725 fps) and 6.4 ft-lbs muzzle energy with BBs (5.1 grain BB at 750 fps). Its followed by the Daisy 880 and Crosman 664 which are within .5 ft-lbs of each other (6.5-7 ft-lbs m.e.) and which have comparable accuracy. In last place is the Crosman 760 which barely meets your muzzle velocity requirement with BBs and which, in my experience is very inaccurate.
Can i take a pellet gun to mexico by plane i am leaving today please help!!?
You may put it in your checked luggage. See site blow and look under Guns and firearms and you will see that Pellet guns may not be taken in carry-on luggage, but it says YES, they may be taken in checked luggage. Those who say otherwise did not even LOOK! The problem is, Mexico is super sensitive about any kind of guns. Pellet guns are not illegal there, but I would be afraid Mexican customs might get all excited when they see that pellet gun and give you a hard time. There is one person on here who always says they are considered toys in Mexico and are sold in many stores, but I have lives in Mexico a long time and have NEVER seen one. Anyway, as far as the TSA is concerned, it is fine in your checked bag.
Can you shoot and kill a Rat with a BB gun/ Pellet gun?
I would purchase a 22 cal. pellet gun with a 4x scope. This way you can kill them at a slight distance so they won't necessarily associate you as the source. You really need to make head shots for a quick kill, hence the scope.
Happy hunting!
Is the bb/pellet gun crosman 2100 or the Remington AirMaster 77 better?
As C_F_45 said, they're the same gun. Crosman makes both guns on the same machinery. They have the same power-plant and have the same muzzle energy. The only difference is one gun is sold as a Remington and one's sold as a Crosman. Even Remington's website lists it as a licensed product not something they make.
Honestly if I was in a store and had to pick between the two, I'd go with the Crosman gun because its usually a bit cheaper ($10-$15 if memory serves). The only reason I can see not getting the Crosman 2100 is if its not carried in your local store but the Remington Airmaster 77 is, and you don't want to buy an airgun online.

Finding average force? HOMEWORK HELP PLEASE!?
Echo 1 Troy Mrf-c G2 User Manual Free
They give you the average velocity of the pellet to be 100 m/s, so it's not really a good start. They're asking for the force exerted by the pumpkin, and they give you the mass, so what formulas take advantage of both of those? F = m*a is the way to go, but we don't know the acceleration of the pellet. But we do know its velocity upon impact, its final velocity, and distance travelled. We need to therefore use one of the kinematic formulas.
Final Velocity ^2 = Initial Velocity ^2 + 2*acceleration*distance
***If that looks right to you, continue. I haven't taken Mechanical Physics in a long time.
0 = 100^2m + 2*a*0.2m
-10000 = 2*a*0.2
-10000/0.4 = a = -25000 m/s^2
The acceleration being a largely negative number makes sense. It's starting out very fast, yet slowed down very quickly in a very short piece of pumpkin. Now we apply Newton's Law.
F = 0.1kg * -25000 m/s^2
